Challenge
A city landmark office building built in 1962 with an innovative design on stilts was recently renovated with new high-rise penthouse venue for events. The building needed a spectacular new gateway to enhance the building’s architectural attributes and attract a premium audience. The entire landmark lighting project needed to be completed in eight weeks.
Strategy
IDS visualized an RGB lighting spectacular for the unique floating entrance.
Approach
Using the historic landmark stilts IDS presented a vision for RGB bands that would both enhance the structures and provide a dynamic show. IDS fabricated boxes to contain the LED lighting and attach seamlessly to the building. IDS also managed installation and programmed the lighting.
